Beenham – Berkshire

Situation

Our client already had an outside twin weather-proof socket installed on site. As an OZEV registered installer, VOLT CPI recommended to design and replace the out of date sockets with a ROLEC pedestal unit as well as adding another ROLEC Quantum 22 KW Dual Pedestal

The aim of this project was to update all functionality and back office management requirements across all sites and also provide a future charge point solution for their growing number of employees who own electric vehicles.

Task

In April 2021, VOLT CPI designed, supplied and installed one 7.2 KW dual pedestal and one 22 KW dual pedestal, updating the entirety of the electrical infrastructure and groundworks required. VOLT CPI also installed the appropriate signage and barriers.

Results

The current installation is working exactly as required and VOLT CPI will be contributing further to the electric vehicle roll out scheme with a further six points. These are due to be installed at Beenham, Bishops Cleave and Banbury in May 2021, with a view to continue the programme of updating existing units and new installations, combined with our maintenance and call out services.
