Situation
Our client already had 1 outside twin ROLEC pedestal installed on site which had no connectivity. As an OZEV registered installer we recommended to design and replace the out of date sockets with a ROLEC pedestal unit with a ROLEC 7.2KW dual pedestal complete with back office (OCPP).
The aim of this project was to bring up to date all the functionality and back-office management requirements across all sites and also provide a future charge point solution for their growing number of employees with electric vehicles.
Task
In May 2021, VOLT CPI designed, supplied and installed 1 x 7.2KW dual pedestal. We advised the client to update the electrical infrastructure and groundworks required.
Results
The current installation is working exactly as required and we are adding to the scheme and back office with a further 2 points due to be installed at Banbury in July 2021, with a view to continue to roll out a programme of updating existing units and new installs combined with our maintenance and call out capacity.
